MOSI; Museum of Science and Industry

MOSI; Museum of Science and Industry

One of the most incredible science museums I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot all over the US, is only a little over an hour's drive from Disneyworld!

We live about an hour from the museum, and have yearly memberships there.  It's a great, fun day trip from Disney!

Inside the museum you will find over 400 things to do for children and adults, and feature's the only IMAX dome theater in Florida!!

It's right down the road from Busch Gardens Tampa, and an easy drive down I-4.

General admission for children is $17.95, for adults it's $21.95, and for seniors aged 60 and over it's $19.95.  We paid $299.00 for the entire year of unlimited museum entry, IMAX films, Ride, and Sky Trail!

What's the Sky Trail you ask?

It's a rope course with a zip line for all ages!!

It ranges anywhere from 12 feet to 36 feet tall, and features multiple levels!

The 700 foot zip line at the top of the structure is awesome too!

The zip line and sky trail rope course combo is $20.00 in addition to your daily admission, so if you're a local it's a great deal to add the option of the course onto your membership!  It saves in the end.

You can purchase the membership with just the zip line and sky course for your family (without the IMAX and rides), for $199.00 a month.

There's always something fun to do at MOSI; Museum of Science and Industry.  Your little ones will love "Kids in Charge", which is the largest Children's science center in the nation!!

They also feature awesome special exhibits throughout the year, and specials on certain days, but if you visit during a $5.00 day be prepared for a busy experience!

I highly recommend a drive to Tampa Florida for a visit to this awesome museum.  You will need at least 4 hours to see it all, and an entire day to truly experience all they have to offer.

There's so many wonderful and fun places to visit in Florida, near Disneyworld!  When we lived in Asheville NC we used to drive hours just to go to a children's museum, science center, and even Chuck E Cheese!

I love all of my options here!
