6 ways to plan for a day at at the Disney Parks

6 ways to plan for a day at at the Disney Parks

1.  Study your chosen Disney theme park and become familiar with the attractions and shows by purchasing a guide map on eBay, or visiting the Walt Disney World website.

2.  Know where you'll be eating.  If it's not a counter service restaurant, you'll need to make reservations as far in advance as possible for your chosen date and time.

3.  Know the weather!!  Don't be caught in the rain, or freeze at night.  Check Disney World weather, and pack right.

4.  Plan your day on paper.  Write down an itinerary for each park day, hour by hour.  The saying "Just Wing It" doesn't work very well in Disneyworld.
With so many attractions, dining options, shows, parades, fireworks, resorts, and amazing sights to see you don't want to miss out!

5.  Decide if you're going Commando, or taking it easy.  There seems to be two types of Disney World vacations.  Go all day and all night, with very little sleep so that you can see as much as possible in the time you're here, or relax and enjoy the parks and resorts by planning your day around mid-day pool visits and naps, and leisurely dining.

6.  Bring special items with you.  Hats, sunblock, sunglasses, snacks, water, Disney pins ... whatever you think you may need for your visit to the park.  It will save you time and money!
