Dreams of Moving to Disney

Dreams of Moving to Disney

I had a dream last night, about living at Disney.  I don't remember the specifics, but I do know it was about helping a family make their dreams come true by moving to Disney.

In the dream the family spent a lot of time in Disneyworld, and they loved it very much.  They were just getting ready to head home, and it was so hard to say goodbye to all of the magic.

Most likely if you've been on a Disney vacation then you know the feeling.  I remember driving out of Orlando, saying goodbye and see you next year to Disney and Orlando. It was sad.

In this dream I was talking to the family and it came up that I lived next to Disney World, just miles away.  They were surprised when I told them that.  I told them that I moved to Disney just to be here, and that surprised them even more!

Many people find themselves here because of jobs or family, but not too many move here just because they love Disney, and want to go there all the time!!

I explained how I, like others, had always dreamed of living by Disney.  But for years it was only that, a dream. It seemed so far away and change is always scary.

But we had fun all the time talking about what it would really be like to move to the Orlando area and go to Disney World when we wanted to.  We actually planned out days and imagined it as if we lived there.

If you're a Disney freak like me, and choose Disney family vacations year after year over other options, then you've probably been asked by many friends, family members, and co-workers why Disney again and again?

Maybe you've even heard that if you actually lived near Disney and visited whenever you wanted to, that the magic would fade, or go away entirely.

Well, maybe it's just because I'm a true lover of magic, fun, and Disney, but after  almost 5 1/2 years living at Disney, and going multiple times per week, I can tell you with 100% certainty that the magic has not faded.  NOT ONE DROP!!

Every single time I drive through those magical gates (which is about 6 times per week), or spend a day at a Disney Park or resort I feel as if I am on vacation again!  I have the same feeling that I had when I visited years and years ago.  It's not different ... well, with the exception that I don't have to get on a bus or plane and leave after a few days or a week or two.

I told all of this to this to the Dream family, who eagerly listened with a growing excitement.  They had not even thought to seriously consider making their dreams come true!  After talking to me, and listening to how and why I moved here, and how wonderful and magical every single day here has been, the door opened for them!

They realized that moving to Disney didn't have to be a dream!!  So many people dream of it, but never really consider it as a real possibility, something that they can actually do.

I know that not everyone can just pack up and move, but maybe you can ... think about it.  Really think about it.

You only live once.  Have the most fun as you can in this lifetime, you deserve it!!

This is the purpose behind our blog, LivingDisney, to help motivate, encourage, educate, help, and simply show you that Your Dream can come true too!
